5 Things

5 things I learned in 2010:

  1. I LOVE Newsies!!
  2. There is a reason for everything.
  3. I'm not as good at tap dancing as Max Casella. (All ya'll who've seen me try... :-p)
  4. Spend time with somebody you normally wouldn't... you might just have a LOT more in common then you had initially realized.
  5. Make friends with Spot Conlon. It's just easier that way.

5 things I want to accomplish this year:

  1. Spend more quality time with God.
  2. Watch Newsies. (I can check that off about, oh I don't know, maybe 15 times already.)
  3. Memorize Psalms 1-3
  4. Purchase something Newsies (a hat doesn't count)
  5. Read the entire Bible cover to cover

5 things I've always wanted to do but have never done:

  1. Meet Dominic Lucero ( =( If any y'all don't know who he is look him up. Bumlets never dies!)
  2. Meet any other Newsie
  3. Live in England
  4. Sell the papes!
  5. Visit New York

5 Things I see as important in life:

  1. God!
  2. Newsies
  3. Music/Movies/TV Shows
  4. Food
  5. Friends/Family

5 Mishaps (Embarrassing moments that I can laugh at):

  1. Hmmmm..... not sure. I tend to forget these kinds of things
  2. I have to come up with another one?
  3. I really have no clue.
  4. Maybe in math class one time. My teacher made me read a ridiculously long story problem (For you who know CPM, need I say more?) in a British accent
  5. And I'm stuck on this one again.

Joe Hardy (This is for The Director)

I have been watching season 1 of the Hardy Boys TV series which was on from 1977-1979. In one of the episodes, Joe Hardy, played by Shaun Cassidy, and his band were playing at a small club. He sings the songs Da Do Run Run and That's Rock and Roll. They were both catchy songs, and while I was attempting to just listen to those songs again, I found myself listening to a play list you tube had made of his songs.

So, my synopsis on Shaun Cassidy is this: He is a talented musician who plays catchy songs.

Newsies Fan Fiction Excerpt part 1

The sun was starting to set by the time Ellen reached the address indicated to on the slip of paper. She wearily walked through the open door and ran smack into a boy with  a cowboy hat and a red scarf around his neck.

"Hey! Watch where you're goin'!"

"S-sorry!" the girl called after him as he raced up the stairs without a glance backwards.

Ellen stood there for a couple minutes not knowing what she should do next, when all of a sudden she realized she wasn't alone.

Movie

I just watched An Angel in the Family. It was very good, but, like a lot of Christmas movies, it had a sad/happy ending to it.
